Chamber of Digital Commerce launches Digital Power Network miners’ coalition

Cryptocurrency miners have a brand new voice in Washington with the launch of the Digital Energy Community (DPN), a brand new coalition affiliated with the Chamber of Digital Commerce. The community is off to a promising begin, with most of the United States’ largest miners on board.

The DPN is the primary affiliate of the Chamber, and shares most of the similar crew members. Its origins stretch again to the Chamber’s Mining Initiative, which “pioneering the introduction of the primary pro-proof-of-work decision within the U.S. Home of Representatives.”

Alena Ricci, vice current of selling on the Chamber and head of selling on the DPN, defined to Cointelegraph that the decision was submitted by Texas congressman Pete Classes in March. “Bitcoin Mining will play a important function in rebuilding power independence within the USA,” Sessions tweeted on the time.

The DPN is debuting with 11 members – Argo, BitDigital, BitFarms, Coinmint, Cipher Mining, DigitHost, Hive, Marathon, Riot, Sustainable Bitcoin Protocol and Terawulf. Collectively they signify over 50% of the U.S. Bitcoin (BTC) hash charge, the DPN stated. In keeping with a press release:
